Brass Fish is a fish created initially from a joke made by -gge.

Creation

The "Copper Fish Teaches Typing" image where Brass Fish with Emerald Fish's Texture first appeared.

On September 1st, 2022, -gge posted a modified image of the title screen from the 1992 MS-DOS game Mario Teaches Typing with the characters swapped out for Mineral Fish. However, Emerald Fish was brown/orange instead of green. Dragon_Egg_Fish suggested that the fish's name was Brass Fish .

Texture

Originally, Brass Fish's texture was a recolored Emerald Fish. JackyBorderCollie did not like this and temporarily left the fandom. On September 15th, 2022, CST1229 posted a new texture for Brass Fish.
